Reflection: This paper delves into the topic of flavonoid consumption and its correlation with coronary heart disease. My partner and I studied articles related to the topic to find evidence of health benefits and found that flavonoids have no significant effect on coronary heart disease or vascular function. This assignment was a good experience for me to read and interpret scholarly articles in the nutrition field. I learned a lot about reading tables and charts to find significant values and correlations. It has given me a higher appreciation for nutrition research and more of an interest in the practice.
